"Art simply has to be born. It is like a child in your belly. You can't hold it back. Birth simply happens. Life, art is like a miracle. Everything is interconnected, like a river that digs its bed. No way other than that. Yves had a strong feeling for this elementary cycle. Above all, from everything he took from nature and the cosmos, he always gave something back in the sense of a sacrifice or a ritual, and he also drew on new energies and forces from the universe. An example: As we were driving back to Paris in our small 2CV from the very impressive realization of the "Fire Fountain" in Krefeld, with the inimitable sounds of hissing fire still in our ears, Yves put the radio on and we heard a program about the sun and its sounds. This noise from the sun was likewise an unusual and sustained tone like the hissing of the flames of the "Fire Fountain" that was still resonating in our ears. Yves experienced such moments of accidental coincidence like a sign from the universe, as a deep resonance beyond the everyday."
