"Avant-garde status can be claimed by both of these Russian artists: Naum Gabo (1890-1977) and Alexander Rodchenko (1891-1956). Both adopted the theme of dismantling and dematerialization plastic volumes into spatial constructions and spherical formations. Accordingly, it is only logical that Galerie Gmurzynska has devoted a joint exhibition to these two inventors and pathfinders in the field of modern plastic art."
